CHEMICAL PEEL
At South Downs Aesthetics we offer 2 different types of chemical peels, including the incredible AlumierMD Chemical Peel and the BioRePeel - see below for the details on each treatment. For all clients looking to have chemical peels, I recommend a skin consultation, which will include an in depth examination of your skin to provide a personalised treatment plan tailored to get your skin looking at its best.
BIOREPEEL
BioRePeel is a strong peel at 35% trichloroacetic acid (TCA) which is also rich in a combination of acids, amino acids and vitamins which improves the skin surface, imperfections and accelerates cell turnover, stimulating the reconstruction of collagen and elastin deep within the skin layer, helping with countering the effects of aging, oxidative damage from UV radiation and pollution, and acne scarring. With little to no down time and visible results immediately after it’s clear why this is a popular peel.
BioRePeel can be used all over the body but most commonly used on the face, neck, and décolleté. It is suitable for all skin types and is also safe to use in the summer months too.

AlumierMD CHEMICAL PEEL
Give your skin a fresh start with an AlumierMD chemical peel. Perfect for dull, congested, or breakout-prone skin, these treatments gently remove the upper layers to reveal smoother, healthier cells beneath. As a light/medium depth peel, results can be seen after just one treatment, but for more noticeable improvements in texture, fine lines, pigmentation, or acne, a series of sessions over several weeks delivers the best outcome - all with minimal downtime.
Each treatment is designed to progressively resurface and rejuvenate your skin, and
includes a 7 day post-procedure homecare kit worth £30 to support your skin’s recovery and enhance your results.
To maximise your results, we recommend pairing your in clinic peels with consistent use of AlumierMD homecare products. Treatment frequency depends on your concerns:
- Acne: every 2–3 weeks
- Pigmentation: every 3 weeks
- General skin health / anti-ageing: every 4 weeks
AlumierMD peels are suitable for all skin types and are fully customised to your needs. They can effectively treat:
